Our indoor round pen makes a fine area for colt starting, beginning riders, and inclement weather riding.  Our regulation-size arena is perfect for outdoor riding, barrel racing, practicing for shows, or just tuning up your horse.

Stalls are available at the rate of $275/month while pasture boarding is $200/month.  Boarding includes feed (our own farm ration or your personal choice, which you may provide), mineral and salt, hay, water, and deworming every two months.  Daily boarding is available at the rate of $10/day for owners on vacation or business trips away from home.  Hauling is also available at the rate of $1.50/mile with a $50 minimun. 

The Faded Rose Farm requires an annual Coggins test, which must be provided upon arrival.  A new Coggins test can be administered by a certified veterinarian at the end of the year upon your request.

Colt starting is available at the rate of $475/month, which includes board.  Mike Johnson uses Chris Cox's method of gentling and colt starting.  He has ten years of experience and starts the colts raised here on the Faded Rose Farm.
